Computer-Aided Design (CAD) is the use of computer technology to aid in the design and particularly the drafting (technical drawing and engineering drawing) of a part or product. It is both a visual (or drawing) and symbol-based method of communication whose conventions are particular to a specific technical field. Drafting can be done in two dimensions (“2D”) and three dimensions (“3D”).
Our in-house CAD department enables us to create designs and ideas in collaboration with our customers. This technology helps customers to visualise the concepts and designs before they are manufactured so that any areas they aren’t 100% happy with can be altered, changed completely or even deleted.
