The scheme includes a new central entrance to the front of the park with a new ornamental steel archway feature which was assigned to our company to manufacture and install, pathways and access improvements, low level lighting to the war memorial, litter bins manufactured by our company . The aim of the scheme is to make the park more visible from the town centre and encourage more people to use the improved facilities.
The archway was proudly manufactured using mild steel in our workshops in Huddersfield, galvanised (a special rust proofing coating) in Bradford and powder coated by a specialist company based in Halifax – an all round locally produced project keeping the economic growth in the West Yorkshire area.
As the manufacturers of this main feature for the park we are proud of the impact this will have to all in Mirfield and are encouraged by comments receiving from local residents and passers by.
